Represent Justice’s Los Angeles Community Event prox-im-i-ty

On March 10, 2020 by Kasey Jones, Ink.

In January, Kasey Jones, Ink. was a part of Represent Justice’s community event prox-im-i-ty to amplify the work of criminal justice organizations in Los Angeles and shift public opinion on incarcerated individuals. The pop up, produced by PLUS ONE Society and TRAP HEALS, included interactive art installations and a speakers panel to help enforce policy reform. To elevate the event’s greenhouse aesthetic, PLUS ONE Society commissioned Kasey Jones, Ink. to create several branded signage pieces using our themed Tropical Leaves design. The scope of work consisted of bar and DJ booth vinyls, food and bar menus, directional signage, and a speakers backdrop, all which included a hand-drawn Represent Justice logo. More recently, we worked with PLUS ONE Society to create basketball themed menus for Represent Justice’s Play For Justice event (pics of those included below).

If you’re not familiar with Represent Justice then check them out here. They’re an incredibly important organization and are doing some wonderful things to bring attention to criminal justice and policy reform. I’m honored our art has been included in their movement, and look forward to continuing to collaborate with this wonderful group of people. 🤍
